This set of book has six volumes with a total of 70 lessons. Each volume contains a textbook, a Workbook and an Instructor's Manual.
Volume 1 through 4 is for elementary and pre-intermediate level and it has a total of 50 lessons. Volume 5 and 6 is for intermediate level and it has 20 lessons. This set of textbooks is compiled in a repetitive method, i.e., its language structures, functions, cultural elements have numerous reappearances. This set of books emphasizes on functional instructive method with a wide variety of different topics.
Each lesson contains text, vocabulary, annotation, exercise and application, dialogue practice, reading and reiterating, pronunciation, pronunciation practice, grammar, Chinese character, and cultural knowledge.
For the Workbook, it contains homework for Chinese character, pronunciation, sentence pattern, and vocabulary practices.
The instructor's Manual has suggestions for each lesson on its purpose, steps and method. It elaborates thoroughly on the contents of each textbook, its pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. Each volume has 2 units of Quiz together with its questions and answers.
